Whether you are visiting Rome, Florence, or Milan, knowing how to confidently order at an Italian *bar* (cafe) is an essential survival skill. This roleplay game simulates a real-world scenario where you must interact with a waiter, choose your pastries, and politely ask for the check.
In Italy, when you order "un caffè", you will automatically be served an espresso. If you want a larger coffee, you need to specify an *americano* or a *cappuccino*. Notice the use of "Vorrei" (I would like) in the dialogue. This is the conditional form of the verb *volere* (to want) and is the most polite, standard way to request something from a waiter in Italy.
